My article on green roofs has come out this week in the The Bristol Magazine as well as the Bath Magazine, which I am very pleased about! The more I read and research green roofs, the more excited and convinced I become of the need to introduce them more to this part of the world. There are very few in the Bath area and this is something which we hope to change. By greening up any roof surface we are putting back a little of what has been taken away by introducing areas for wildlife to thrive as well as reducing the sometimes devastating effects of water run-off and flooding. Imagine even being able to make a small green roof on a shed or a porch! They look wonderful and give diversity, colour and make our surroundings far more interesting.
